Since you can get off rosters, I'd recommend the P-01 Omega. Very crisp trigger, user convertible between decocker and manual safety. The sights are upgraded over the on-roster P-01.



But better yet, before buying this, buy every one of the other guns suggested in this thread, and sell them to deserving Calgunners. That, and throw in an M&P9 Compact M2.0 to the hapless masses.

Canik shark fc. Well made CZ clone at an affordable price.
Basically an SP01 with alloy frame. It's still big, but at least it's lighter for carry.

Then you may like the Phantom. Same size,10 oz. lighter polymer frame.



The only thing it lacks compared to the SP-01 Tactical is the lack of replaceable side grip panels. It just doesn't fill up your hands like the metal framed guns

SP-01 phantom checks the most boxes, and weight is a big deal with carry.

Carry gun? CZ P10-C

Home Defense? CZ 75 or SP01 with night sights.

Range gun? CZ TS with a gas pedal, racker, and c-more.

I never considered weight in a carry gun until I got old. Now it's king. I carried a G19 but now switched to a G17 Agency. Yes it's bigger but it lighter so it's actually easier to carry. If CZ makes a light weight gun, go for that one. LOL

You left out the CZ 75 Compact. Same size as the P-01 and PCR, but all-steel. A nice, soft shooter.

I consider the 75, sp 01 and tactical sport as the quintessential czs. Anything with more plastic nah... Out of the three I would grab the tactical sport for mostly range use, otherwise the 75
