S&W SD40VE upgrades?

Does any one know of any good aftermarket parts for the S&W SD40VE? I know Apex Tactical and Galloway Precision make some after market parts for for the SD series but are there any others I may be overlooking? Google search is all over the place when searching for the SD40VE. I would really like to find an after market Extended Slide Stop Lever Assembly. Any Help? This is a stock Slide Stop Lever Assembly, for those that will ask what that is.

Apex is the company that really sells most of the things for that. It's really more of an entry-level gun and has a limited aftermarket. If you are interested in customizing, try buying Glock.

At one point I've wanted one of these pistols also. Be sure to research the issues it has with the slide not going into battery. There is some correlation with using an all metal guide rod. Plenty of youtube vids. I'm just a messenger...

Put an apex reduced weight spring kit & trigger, new sights and you'll have a decent carry gun. I can punch a bullseye out of a target at 10 yards with one.

Where did you get that #? You must be confusing it with the Sigma SW40VE. The trigger weight on the SD40VE is right around 7.5#

Aftermarket support is the only redeeming factor of Glocks IMO.
There are pistols that are just as capable but $100 - $200 less. SAXD and SW SD line are perfect example.

Unfortunately Glocks are like BMWs. There is a huge cult of dooosh bag following who think they're Dirty Harry & John Wick in one.

SW SD lineup are great guns.
