    Hey Guys,

I'm looking to get my g19 milled for an rmr. Is there anywhere you all would recommend in particular?

I checked them out...160 is the cost.

Man...that is so costly...im seriously considering just buying an already milled slide.

Does glock have any factory milled options?

          I've been considering jagerwerks
          $125 for just RMR milling
They'll even install sights or RMR that you send with your slide and laser align it for you as well

          4 weeks turnaround

Ive had 2 RMR slides done by ATEi. One was an RM07 and the other was an RM06. Doug at ATEi charges $160 because he also hand fits the specific RMR thats going on the gun to the slide. At one point i sold the RM07 and wanted to put the RM06 on the pistol that used the RM07. It didnt fit. There is a tolerance difference with RMR's. Why is this important? Because when you slam the RMR into something, you want the optic to be completely in contact with the slide. That force needs to transfer directly to the slide instead of putting stress on the screws. If the pocket isnt perfectly fit for an RMR, you very well may break that optic off of the slide.

If you are going to do it, send it to doug.

Lone Wolf also requires you send them the optic so it can be a perfect fit.

Had them do a Delta Point Pro on my G17, no complaints. $120.00.

Ive been looking at sending my slide off tk Jagerwerks for a few weeks now, looking at their optics packages. They told me optic cuts and cerokote is 1 week turn around time.

Make sure you run the numbers. There's cost of shipping (if you need to ship), mill work, suppressor sights, etc. You may decide that you would rather just have a whole new slide or even a whole new gun (milled at the factory).

This. But don't op for the slide finish. Their milling work is top notch. But paint job is so so. Save that money to have our calgun members sargis do it. Far superior work at very reasonable price.

ATEI offers Black Nitride ( Melonite / Tennifer Finish), this is not a paint finish this more similar to the glock stock finish. The ATEI slide I had with the nitride finish was pretty good.

For a gun which you plan to holster often I would opt for this versus cerakote which is a paint finish.

Wet Werks has been good in my experience.

Brownells was selling milled G-19 slides not too long ago.
That might be a better option for you.
