    POS guns

You guys have or had bad guns!

    S&W 22A - never can get through a 10 mag without jamming.

Remington 597 rifle - worse mag spring ever. Jams every few rounds. Still have this in the back of the safe.

Both are factory stock purchased new.

My daughter's favorite. Accurate and reliable for me. It's one of the pistols I use when I take new shooters to the range and I have never had a malfunction. Try replacing the recoil spacer https://www.brownells.com/handgun-pa...prod15057.aspx and recoil spring https://www.brownells.com/handgun-pa...prod15058.aspx

        Revolvers are not pistols

Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Springfield M1A National Match rifle. This gun was a complete POS.

Colt Anaconda 4" 44 mag revolver.

          I have a 22A that works great.

SiG P226 Mk 25. The gun was bad enough, but the attitude of SiG customer service was worse. "Obviously, you don't know how to shoot our gun."

            Dumped it after four weeks.

                      Maybe it's the ammo?

Of course any maker could put out a lemon occasionally, if there isn't good quality control.

About 10 years ago, a buddy & I both bought new Remington 597's. Both wouldn't function more than three or four rounds. Constant feeding & ejection failures and (as you mentioned), rounds stuck halfway down the magazine. Mine started going full auto.

After a failed factory fix, I wrote to Remington & they gave us both full refunds.

No. I have owned/shot more than 50 handguns.

The only negative experience I had was that the previous owner replaced the original GI guide rod assembly with a two-piece unit on his 1911. It came loose every other shot. It was not the gun.

This makes me very happy that I never bought a Sig. Thank you.
