How about comparing apples to apples:

    Tula steel-cased 9mm $7.49 https://www.outdoorlimited.com/Produ...tCode=ta919150

    Tula steel-cased .38 special $9.95 https://www.outdoorlimited.com/Produ...tCode=ta038158

    .
Because I have never seen Tula 38 Special at a California Walmart. Have you?

The moral of the story is Reload

Roger that. All revolver calibers are outrageous. Two great reasons to reload for your revolver; One is the cost and two, you never loose the brass

Why do you limit ammo sellers to Walmart only?

I knew things were bad in California but I didn't know y'all could only buy ammo at Walmart. Is that the law or something? I avoid shopping at Walmart as much as possible.

Face it, you made a ridiculously unfair comparison to exaggerate the price difference between 9mm and .38 SPL. Everything except .22 LR is more expensive than 9mm.

        Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

I have 2-1/2", 3", and 4" Model 66s. Great revolver, and the 3" is my favorite (although the rarest of the three, of course).

It really is the iconic 38/357 S&W revolver. One of those guns that if you were going to own only one wheel gun, the M66 is an excellent choice.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.
