Ghost edge 3.5 connector reliability
Tags: None -
I have their avenger connector. It is a drop in part. And it helped clean up the stock trigger considerably in my glock 30. I left that connector in when I put an Agency arms flat trigger in it and everyone that tries it loves that guns setup. Still has some take up. Only lightened it slightly maybe a half pound. If anything you now have a more predictable wall if you are into 2 staging the trigger.

I wouldn't use anything except the official Glock minus connector. Even if the Ghost connector feels a little nicer, I don't want to risk compromising reliability.Originally posted by G. Been using the Rocket connector for years. Used the Edge in my last two Glocks. I use them with the lighter striker spring, heavier trigger spring and 11llb recoil spring (in 9mm guns).
Zero issues. Trigger is much nicer, limits overtravel as much as possible (or as much as you want, it's a user adjusted part) and gives trigger a smooth stroke with no stacking. Best $50.00 I've spent on any Glock (whole kit price).
I'm in the Bay Area, so I ain't carrying my guns, but if I could, it wouldn't bother me that this part was in it.Comment

Currently running Ghost connectors on all my Glocks...
G22 - Rocket (range)
G35 - Pro 3.3 (range)
G19 - Tactical (HD)
No issues with reliability on either of them and only trigger mod done besides the $0.25 trigger job..."1911 mag, twinkie, twinkie, cupcake, primary weapon mag"

After buying and selling $300 in bolt on glock crap, taran tactical and zev are the only brands really worth it. The ghost mag release is ok for a carry gun, but their connectors and internal parts are generally less reliable than OEM, not worth it IMO.Last edited by meanrock; 10-09-2017, 10:33 PM.Comment

Had the Ghost connector in all the Glocks (6) that my wife and I own. After approximately one year from the time I installed Ghost connectors, my wife's Glock 19 went full auto. I talked to a tech at Glock and he advised to pull the connector out and go back to OEM. I replaced the Ghost connector with an OEM and have not had another problem with maybe 5000 rds. through it. Needless to say, all of the Ghost connectors have been replaced with OEM connectors. I know of one other person that had the same problem with a Zev connector. I can't figure out why the Ghost and Zev connectors would be fine for a long time then go bad.Comment

I have the ghost edge. According to the comparison chart, it was the best connector I could drop in. I bought it, I dropped it in, and so far my glock 19 has given me no trouble what so ever. You guys are free to come and try it out to see if it's something you want to buy.Comment

IDK why but I tend to not touch the easiest part to modify. Not really because I feel that all modifications are unsafe, I just prefer being able to pick up the most common modern handgun in the world and be able to shoot it like I shot my own. I would hate to pick up a glock after saying I have experience with one only to not be as accurate because my Glock had some fancy smancy trigger.Comment
