    Browning Hi Power Roll Marks

    I was wondering if someone could fulfill my curiosity on what these roll marks mean. I wasn't easily able to find answers on Google.

    It's on a Browning marked Hi-Power dated 1972.

    There's this crown on the left trigger guard.


    On the right trigger guard is this thing:

    The bottom one is an inspection and proof mark from the Liege proof house in Belgium. Its a combination of the "Perron" inspection mark and the "Superior Nitro" proof marks.

    Not sure what the top one is

      Thanks for that. I finally found some stuff on the 1911forum that corroborates your info. But still having a hard time finding out what the crown means.
