    CZ landyard loop

I've had my CZ PCR for about three weeks now. When I was taking it out of the safe this morning I glanced at the bottom of the grip. I noticed that the landyard loop appeared to be crooked. I took a closer look and saw the loop was not screwed in aligned with the length of the pistol. This seems abnormal. Has any one seen this on their pistols? Any thoughts about it?

The MSP on my PCR was the same way. You can twist it back but it may end up canted again after a while.

It is normal. My SP-01 and Beretta 92 do the same thing.

The coil hammer spring pushes against the lanyard loop piece. When the coil spring is compressed it wants to turn. That turning rotates the lanyard loop piece. The cut end of the coil spring's wire acts similar to a lock washer which allows easy rotation in one direction but not in the other.

              Slight thread jack
Whose looking at eliminating the loop altogether? Thinking I'm going to replace mine with the one from the 75B as soon as CGW gets them back in stock.

You can just file the loop off. Personally, I like it.

                  Never noticed or checked

I was under the impression(just a wild guess) that it was quite common for European Police weapons to have that feature. Civilian models don't?

You can get a new plug with the loop eliminated at CGW. Simple replacement.
