Accurate, reliable, you will never wear it out.
Versatile, you can fire just about anything you can fit in the cylinders.

A Ruger Blackhawk convertible will last a very, very long time.

I have Single Ten, Single Seven, GP100, and will get Super BlackHawk
They are incredibly accurate and will last longer than myself

Had a blackhawk 357, great pistol but grip shape was uncomfortable for me to shoot. Went back to Ruger double action revolvers ~

I have been looking at the Ruger Blackhawk Convertible as my next purchase. Today i went to the Ruger site & looked on their CA Approved list. I could not find any Blackhawks on the list. Am I missing something?

Blackhawk's are single action, and thus all of them are CA compliant.

Is there a favorite of those that have one between the 4.62 & the 6.5" barrel size?

Had one (the "old model"). Good gun. Sold it due to loss of interest, but definitely a solid shooter.

I know they are durable and well made. However I would probably hold out for a Colt Detective Special if I were ever to buy one. The GP100 is pretty nice though

Double Your Action Double Your Fun.

Mid 70s, nothing 80s, Smith & Weasal 4 inch k Frame or a Rugly double action 357 with 4 inch barrel or less, and especially a classic Colt Detective Special, will put to shame the heavy weight L frames & GPs.

I had a 45LC/45ACP Blackhawk, only used the ACP cylinder a few times, ended up trading it towards a Vaquero when they first came out.
For those that have one, how is the difference in sights .357 vs 9mm?
