Price check S&W pre-lock + Ruger Std model

I recently acquired a few handguns from my Father who passed away a few months ago.
What do you guys and gals here say about value.
S&W mod:10-7, .38spl. 4" Bbl. Blued, original dark blue cardboard box with paperwork. It has been fired, but is in excellent 99% condition, looks like its brand new, bought new 1/20/1980 for $130.00

Ruger RST-6, .22LR 6" Bbl., Blued, 2-Factory original 9-shot magazines, original red cardboard box and paperwork. It has been fired, but is in excellent 99% condition, looks like brand new, bought new 7/9/1979 for $92.00

I like both of these guns, but I prefer Stainless Steel and already have similar ones, in Stainless Steel.
I am thinking of getting a new S&W 66-8 .357 Combat magnum with a 2.75" Bbl.

Just about all my guns that I've gotten from my family either stay with me, or sold/traded to other close family members who I know would take care of them, like trading my Winchester 1300 Defender with a lot of work done to it by VangComp that my uncle gave to me on my 25th birthday to my cousin, his son, for a couple rifles that the same uncle gave to him.

Can't comment on a price for the Ruger, but not too long ago I sold a S&W Model 10-5 with a 4" barrel for about $650 through my friends gunshop. Didn't have the box with it, but it was in excellent shape and the only rounds I put through it were low velocity/low recoil wadcutters. Laser accurate too.

I can also say the 66 is an awesome revolver as well, I never owned a 66-8, but I have a 66 no dash 2.5" barrel, first year production, along with its blued cousin a Model 19-3 6" barrel and both are just fantastic guns.

I say sell off one of the other stainless revolvers you have in order to get the 66, every safe should have equal amount of blued, stainless, nickel, and case colored revolvers, the more the merrier!

Sentimental value aside, you'll never find guns like that for a reasonable price, and they will do nothing but appreciate.
