Calling my 2011 complete (pic heavy)

Well the 2011 I built from a Limited-Ten 80% carbon-steel blank is done.I documented the build in the gunsmithing forum but basically I built this steel frame into a 2011 in 4 days prior to leaving for Colorado.
I used a CK Stainless grip, Ed Brown Barstock GS, L10 slide stop, Extreme/Bobs Cop Shop hammer/sear/disconnctor, STI trigger, Bar-sto barrel, Wilson thumb safety, Dwson extended firing pin, Wilson guide rod, Fusion slide, Caspian pin set, Dawson Magwell, Brazos ejector and I think a Wilson extractor, Ed Brown firing pin stop and Wolff main and firing pin springs.

    Pics of the assembly fitting-

Once it was functional I shot a few matches with it in the white making sure it ran perfectly-

Then it was torn down to the last pin and sent off to H&M Black Nitride for thier Black Nitride process-

And the results were worth it:

The gun runs very very well after some extractor tuning and I am super happy with it!

      What does she weigh?

The nitride makes her very sexy.

Have not weighed in, but on the hefty side. 9mm 125pf loads are a lot like shooting airsoft

The nitride is AWESOME. I did all the steel parts including the barrel inside and out, bushing, pins, everything and the gun went right back together like it came apart and it feels very slick. I was a little concerned because I have used DLC (Diamond Like Coating AKA Casidium) before and it "tightened" everything a little, and on some friends guns they basically had to break the gun back in for it to be reliable. This gun just went back together and runs!

I must admit I am digging it. A lot.

That grip is what I should have gone for. ($$$)

Can you do me a huge favor and take a few more shots of the finish (in good lighting and close up)?

I'm not too fond of that thing on the end of the grip. But the rest of it looks smashing. Especially since you build it on your own that's really cool

Excellent job OP. She looks good, sexy, but means business for action pistol. What weight recoil spring and main spring are you using for loads just above 125 PF?

Pics are great and certainly help. Thank you very much.

I also just realized what was bugging me (nothing to do with finish). Not lowered and not flared ejection port. What slide is that?
