1911 - New Trigger Question

Hello all-
I just had an Ed Brown National Match trigger installed on my brand new
1911, and while it's a HUGE improvement and I absolutely love the gun and the trigger, while shooting it the edges of the trigger cut my trigger finger up a bit. Is there any way to smooth the edges down without affecting the trigger's operation? Maybe take some steel wool or something to it? I am not a gunsmith, and I don't want to do anything that will damage my now perfect gun, so any advice is much appreciated.

Very, very fine grit sandpaper and lightly dehorn the edges. Along with the edges, break the edges in the hole for the overtravel screw while you're at it.

Go one step further than sandpaper, use Crocus cloth instead. You can usually find it hiding near the sandpaper at your local Ace hardware store.

That's what I used on my Kimber. Low speed with fine sandpaper. Just enough to round off the square edge of the trigger.
