    Anyone got a birdshead?

IMG_0004.jpgJust busted this Ruger out of jail. It's chambered in 45 ACP. She points really naturally for me and I've always wanted a high gloss stainless hand gun.
So... does anyone else own a birdshead single action?

Pretty cool, I always wanted one. My son and I found two new Bisley's in .45 Colt right here for sale a while back, very fun guns too. I changed the grips on mine so we could easily tell them apart.

Love my thumb busters as much as my double actions, maybe a bit more.

Got two vaquero birds head . 45 colt and 44 mag. Both are sweet as hell. The 44 can nail my 66 percent ipsc steel target at 100 yards. It's like magic, but Elmer said a 4 inch 44 is best, these are 3.75 so the best little big gun I've ever had.

i too have a ruger vaquero 45acp too but cant quite love the birdshead grip. i have other ruger blackhawk single action revolvers with traditional grips, which i swap out for pachmayrs, that i all love. i wish pachmayr made a bh replacement grip. shooting 45acp and 9mm out of ruger singles is gobs of great, cheap fun.
