I carry my G43 as a back up and sometimes off duty. It's a good gun. I like G26 A LOT MORE. It's a lot easier for me to shoot well and I can use full size magazine as a reload.

I can get all the off roster guns I want from my son in AZ, the 43 isn't really on my radar

You mean the gun that is nearly the size of a 19 with the same capacity as a 26?

It's apples to oranges comparing it to the 43.

The shield is a better option than the 43 if you have to buy one for market price.

That would mean the possession is out of state, not in CA. How do you legitimately transfer to self in CA?

Or any time you find yourself out of state for an extended period of time establish residency there, surrender your CA drivers license, and get a free state license, then gorge yourself on purchases.

When you move back, when it comes to pistols the only things you can't bring back are threaded barrels, and regular magazines. When you convert your drivers license back to CA you have 30 days to register all firearms for $19.

Just like any item thats hard to obtain. Supply and demand. Theres no supply and theres still a decent demand for items that aren't CA legal, or sold in stores. So expect a higher price. MSRP means squat on items like this unless its readily available for anyone to walk in a store and buy. That goes for any item, guns, cars, electronics, etc etc

Nobody is going to twist your arm to buy it. The seller doesn't need to twist anyone's arm.
If you want one, pay the price. Money talks, and bs walks without a G43.
What are you, some type of socialist, communist who wants the government to seize someone's G43 and give it to you?

Wow! Maybe you could lighten up a little? I see your profile says Utah. How much do you pay for a G43 there?

Oh, I see Doug's in SLC has them on sale for $468.

What if you have a generous uncle, cousin or tax preparer who lives in Utah?

It's only worth that because of government regulations (the roster), so please, tell us more about what a great libertarian you are.

Yea I know why the prices are the way they are. I also know if people held their urge to jump at these guns at over inflated prices, sellers would end up with a 5 page thread with only their bumps. Then they'd have to eventually lower their prices if they still wanted to sell them.

Compare the dimensions not much smaller than the 26. Not worth the off roster gouge.

Forget the specs, they don't tell the story of carrying them day in and out. The difference is huge in real life. I dropped my G4G26 from the permit and carry the G43. Night and day difference. For a G26 size gun I now carry a G30S.
