    686-3 value?

A little late to ask this. What is a 686-3 worth? Gun is mint not fired much original box and paperwork. Owner bought it in 1989.
    Thanks

The Blue Book says $475 at 98% condition, and $600 in 100% mint, and of course then you'd add $$$ for the "California premium". But I see them on Gunbroker listed for at least $650-$750 plus shipping all around the country, and some for a lot more. Barrel length and any special features will affect the price.

Condition is 99% 6 incher. Price is 750.00 with 200 rounds of ammo. It is Prelock and of course off roster.

Totally worth it, especially if you have the original grips in that original box.

Even out of California you;d have a very hard time actually finding a 100% on for anywhere near $600.

Hopefully he has the original grips and you can dump those awful Pachmayrs.

Unfortunately no woody. And he didnt have the original box [emoji22].
But I did get 200 rounds of 357 jhp and 8 boxes of once fired . claims he only shot the 8 boxes of ammo as he likes his 1911 kimber better.

?? Ya couldn't even find a Prelock for less than 1000.00 let alone a old school exposed firing pin vs smooth face hammer like my 586.

FWIW, I recently scored a 686-4 with 4" barrel for $600. It had the original grips but no original paperwork and box. I can tell it was shot some but not a lot.

                              You did great.

I am holding out for a four inch. I had two 6 inchers, one a RR/WO and the other the partridge sight version. They departed during a divorce settlement. Bu that is life in CA.
