Thank you to everyone for all the great info. I found a 1911 I really liked and purchased it yesterday. It wasn't an Ed Brown or a TRP full rail. I held the full rail and it just wasn't for me. I did finally see a TRP stainless and I think that might be my 1911 future purchase.

Really, really nice gun made by a family owned company where the family are really, really nice people.

Seriously, the Brown family are friendly and outgoing and love to talk to their customers (paying or window shopping) about their products. I love that about them.

Sorry , I got a SS Kimber Pro Carry HD 2. It has a steel frame. I went to my local LGS and after holding different models, I just liked this one a lot.
