CZ75 pre B model questions

I was in Lancaster for some business today and I stopped at a gun store where I saw a beater cz 75 pre b model that I decided to pick up. I got it for $412 plus taxes and fees. I wanted to know if they take the same magazines as the newer ones and if they are the same quality as the newer models. Any info would be much appreciated. Here is a pic I got of it btw.

I think one of the main differences is no firing pin block. I think grips should work the same.

If you're using the factory 10-round magazine, they should fit a pre-b. However for regular capacity magazines, they may have trouble fitting. CZ USA sells regular capacity magazines on its website specifically for pre-Bs.

Wow, that is cool, I thought those were scarce due to the 'Iron Curtain' back in the day. I love the rounded trigger guard and the spur hammer - very classic.

But yeah, grips should be the same, the 'B' was just for the minor changes - firing pin and so on.

75B mags might not work without some mods. Some Pre-B will take them, some will not. You wont know until you get it in hand and try it.

New Cz75 grips work fine. I went with old school style grips on mine

If the mags fit tight, a few passes with a file in the magwell area up top will fix that. Luckily, my pre-B (1992) didn't need it. Modern mags slid right in.

It came with pachmyers I just took them off as they were on too tight and the aftermarket mag wouldn't come out with them on. Thanks euphoria I'll most deff take you up on that offer. I was waiting to find an amrscor mapp fs but decided to give up my search and just get the real one. I'm thinking about getting a battle worn finish on the gun after I shoot it a few times. Though the worn look doesn't bother me too much. The rest of the gun is in great shape looks to be a truck gun or something like that
