1911 Allen grip screw stripped, ideas?

I got a used 1911 and got home from shooting today and realized the head is completely stripped, not just kind of it's a perfect circle. Kind of scared to use an easy out and damage the threads in the frame. Anyone got a clever idea without damaging the grips?

Left hand drill bit from harbor freight. Either that or a small "ease out" screw extractor.

Since the screw is trashed anyway, I've had luck using a similarly sized Torx bit, lightly tapping it in with a small hammer until it "bites," and removing the screw.
      My buyer/seller feedback.

If you have a dremel you can cut a slot and use a screwdriver or cut the head off.

Best chance is to get a reverse twist bit and drill it out. About half the time it backs out on its own while you drill. If you don't want to do that you can try a bit of extra strength epoxy and sacrifice a hex key by using a small drop of epoxy, glue the hex wrench in place, let it set and try to back it out.

Best bet is the reverse bit though.

Ran down to lowes and bought one (a grabit), came right out with ease.
