Is the S&W MP9 Shield On Roster?

Is the S&W MP9 Shield On Roster? I checked the roster and it seems that it is but I see ads for Off Roster ones. Is this for LE or other versions? What is the difference between standard and LE versions? My MP9 has a manual safety but no magazine safety. I bought this a while back and can't remember which one I got and did not know enough at the time to even ask.

Loaded chamber indicator and magazine safety or lack thereof for the free state version.

The CA approved Shield has the LCI, frame mounted safety and magazine disconnect that makes the gun NOT fire unless a magazine is mounted.

Other versions available in the free states or CA LEOs have no LCI but with a peek hole, no safety, no mag disconnect feature.

You can remove the mag disconnect, we also don't get the giant warning engraved on the slide that it can fire without magazine inserted. So it's not all bad. And there are a few LCI solution/compromises one can install.

            CA version has a CLI.

The peek hole is a LCI that does not meet CA's requirement for a CLI.

This is true, but be warned...

If you (as many do) plan to use the Shield as a Carry Concealed Weapon in California (if you're lucky enough to be in a county that issues those licenses), you would be advised not to carry a Shield that has been modified from the California-approved configuration.

Edit: Oddly enough, if you legally own a non-California Shield, I believe (at least this is true in my county) you are allowed to have that gun on your license.
