Actually, I heard (and have not confirmed) that a Gen 3 extractor will fit, but because the edge of the slide face isn't cut the same way on a Gen 2 as it is on a Gen 3, the extractor will not be a perfect fit. But my understanding is that function will be fine.

Do you have a Gen 3 where you could compare? Or a friend with a Gen 3 so you could actually try swapping the extractors?

Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

Unless you just want to buy new parts, there is an easier way to solve this problem.

Come out to Richmond R&G on August 26th or 27th for the GSSF match and have the on-site Glock Armorer replace all your parts for you. He replaced all the internals, except the barrel, on my Gen2 G19 a couple of years ago...even gave me back all my "black" parts for future collector value

They no longer produce the extractors for the gen 2. Availability is getting scarce for them. I have one extra left for replacement.

Contact glock they will have you mail in the slide and they will cut it to fit the gen 3 extractor.
