Zev Spartan Slide For G19

I might be getting a Zev Spartan slide for my G19 but I want to see if anybody has ported their barrels to go with the slide. To me those cuts are just asking to be mated for a ported barrel but I want to confirm before I proceed.

Yup, a friend and fellow Calgunner came up with the phrase to describe those custom Glocks with slide cuts and stipple jobs. I think they are cool to look at and I've never shot one before so why not? It's not like I can go out and buy a Shadow 2 or M&P 2.0 so I'll make the best of what I can buy.

I'll talk to my gunsmith and update you guys. This might be fun.

i wouldnt go with a ported barrel but if you want a diff looking barrel, go with the zev threaded and add a compensator like this one from primary machine:



kkm made a pretty cool one too but im not sure they do anymore.

Once you get into custom Glocks the choices are literally endless, you're going to spend days just trying to figure out what stippling you like.

We must be operating on the same wavelength. I've also been thinking about getting one of those Zev slides and a matching burnt bronze barrel to "hipsterize" my G19. I don't think I'll go the extra distance of porting the barrel (I'll stick to what I can do myself), but add the RMR, the trigger upgrade, etc. With restrictions on everything these days, it must be that I'm running out of projects to work on; it also doesn't involve filling out forms, going to the gun store twice, and waiting ten days, so those are other pluses with something like this.

For years it's been either SSE off roster pistols or rifles, every year there is something to chase but now we are out of things to buy. Let's hit the range after we have our G19 hipsterized.

Ok, so where is this project at. I have a Gen4 19c and absolutely love it and want to do an 80% with the ported Zev Spartan.

This project is going nonwhere at the moment because I got no money lol
