For leather, Milt Sparks VMII. The wait time is running about 12 Weeks and runs a little over $100.00. For kydex, Vedder Lighttuck. Ships in less than a week at a little over half the price.

DeSantis Sof-Tuck is a good inexpensive IWB holster. May not be as nice as what others will recommend, but only costs around $20-$25.

I prefer leather holsters ( I still have a serviceable Fed Paddle for my 1911's that is over 25 yrs old.) and use the Galco "Southern Comfort" for my P226 and the "SC2" for my P228. They have a very complete line of IWB holsters for the P226 with rail, all made in the USA of the highest quality materials..

We produce the highest quality inside the waistband (IWB) holsters for your concealed carry needs. They will keep your EDC at the ready & easily concealed.

          The Southern Comfort Holster:
          Premium Steerhide
          Open top
          Butt-forward cant
          Metal-reinforced mouth
Supplied with 1 3/4" belt loops
          Optional/replacement 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" belt loops

The Galco holsters put out today should not even be allowed to be called holsters when compared to holsters they put out 25 years ago.

              Love the Vedder LightTuck.
I have them for all of my carry guns.
Haven't used the Aliengear or Tucker in a long time.

Look at Multiholsters. The fit is great, the gun snaps right in. Have one for my P229.

For large, heavy auto's, Milt Sparks for the win. VM2 in the winter and Summer Special for warmer weather. I even use Kramer for G19 and smaller.

I suggest that you check out Milt Sparks Holsters, Inc. before making your purchase if you have interest in a leather holster.
