    MPX pistol question

I currently have a MPX pistol. I have decided I don't want to deal with it anymore. Is it possible to sell this in CA or should I just try out of state? I seen a couple in the marketplace, but just want to be sure of the correct and best way of doing this.

Thanks for any and all help.

It needs to be maglocked/fixed mag/etc. So something like this https://www.bulletbutton.com/product-p/mpxpmr.htm then find an FFL who will do the PPT for you, some FFL's are cautious about transferring guns like this. From what I've seen on marketplace, you can make some profit off MPX pistol's here in CA.

I'd like to keep it in CA. Just decided I don't want to deal with AW stuff anymore. I guess now I gotta find a dealer willing to PPT it in that configuration in So Cal. If I can then I'll get the PMR and post it.

What about turning it into a rifle, then getting a featureless grip wrap from fingrips for it? Buttstock has to be fixed open. Go to mfiap.com for the barrel extension...

I thought I heard somewhere that once you dros as a pistol it must remain a pistol for life. And I also thought that if originally dros'd as a rifle you could ppt it as a pistol (just speaking in regards to lowers)

Pistol to rifle is ok. Not ok to go back to a pistol in CA

I converted a Scorpion to a rifle before the carbines came out.

Never thought about converting to a rifle. Just hate to do that. So much more fun as a pistol.
