Fmj certainly would, but a proper jhp shouldn't overpenetrate. I use Underwood Xtreme defenders, which may or may not overpenetrate, I'm not really sure haha. But I like that they can go through barriers and still be effective, whereas jhps don't usually perform well through barriers.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Also increase the speed with longer barrel, added a little weight, both advantages for me. Not really a glock fan, true love is 1911s, but this is one i will keep.
It is nice to have a beater around . you can take it to hiking/hunting/backpacking and not have to worry about outdoor environment damages . are u having issue with your kkm barrel ? I time to time have FTF with factory length KKM . I only use it for range to save brass life, for anything else , I swap to factory for reliability .

Don't listen to the people who complain about the cost of 10mm who don't actually own a 10mm, they're just repeating what they've heard other people say.

Until I actually bought a 10mm, I always thought one should "never buy a 10mm unless you're rich or you reload your own ammo", until I started shopping around and realized shopping for 10mm is hardly any different than any other caliber if you look in the right places.
Couldn't agree more. I've been struggling in gun forums with this fact for years.

I don't reload and the prices are not steep.

Zero problems with the KKM 6 inch barrel, very accurate too. Looks good with the barrel about a inch sticking out past the end of the slide.

I don't reload either . Shoot 40 S@w for practice . Order Underwood when there's sales . Generally in 500 rd lots . Use a little for practice stock pile the rest .

I like that Sellier and Bellot special that's everywhere. $13.95 for a box of 50 180 grain FMJ. Trying to decide where to order from. Seems to come out around $15 shipped most places. Need some free shipping codes. I was going to order $300 from Selway, but that code is long gone. S&B 45 ACP is pretty cheap too at $12-$13. A good portion of my 9mm stash was bought at $13.95 range a while back obviously. Nice to see 10mm at the same price.

I was looking around today to stock up. Any free shipping or cheap shipping costs? One vendor wanted $26 to ship. Ok if I'm buying 500 rounds but not for a couple hundred.

Selway is about $15.57 per box on 500 rounds - $16.27 shipping.

Considering these are better than Armscor or the bulk 250 packs I used to get @ over $20 a box... I'll order some. S&B 45 ACP is $12.99 a box there too.

Any of you G20 owners tried the lone wolf 9mm barrel conversion? Did it work? I don't own a 9mm glock and would rather shoot the cheap 9mm at the range than the $.28/round 10mm. Just wondering if anyone has real world experience with the conversion barrel and replacement spring. Of course when I carry my 10mm or HD I would use 10mm loads.

EDIT: Also I saw one person post about shooting .40 cal with no mods (just loading bullets via the magazine and not dropping straight into the chamber). Anybody else? I've read people on both sides of this idea on the net and have considered it for cost reasons, ie: plinking, target shooting.
I shoot mine all the time with 40's. I just load them up and go to town

                        No issues with .40

                        About 2000 rounds so far.

Only two Glocks have impressed me, the .40 S&W Glock 23C, and the 10mm Glock 20SF. And I only kept the 10mm!

Outside CA people sometimes wear a lot of clothes. Not everyplace is as mild as even Northern CA, and winter clothes can make a difference.

Try some of the lighter bullets in 10mm. I prefer 155gr and 165gr in the shorter barrel G29 and G27 40S&W.

If you really want to stock up, Selway has a free shipping code over $500 now.

                                freeship500

They do have lots of other things to stock up on besides $13.95 10mm... I'd try some 500 round battle packs of the Yavex brass cased 9mm - $7.99 a box, under .16 per round. S&B .45 acp is $12.99.... pondering a $538 order here for 1000 10mm and 1000 .45 ACP.

I dunno how much people are getting .40 S&W for, but probably not less than $14 for factory new brass cased stuff. I'd rather shoot this 10mm.
