Feels real close to my 1911's, But a whole lot cheaper to shoot
First I started by removing the loaded Chamber indicator.
The reason for this Mod is that sometimes the indicator button inside can hit the spent round as it is being extracted and dislodge it early, causing a FTE.
Next was to remove the Mag disconnect.
This requires removing the Disconnect lever & Spring, then fabbing up new spacers and fitting them to the Hammer pin. I used SS #10 washers for this.

Next is the Sear and Hammer, Stoned lightly to lighen the trigger and to remove some creep, Aparently trigger work is not my calling.
Only lightened it by #1, it is still #4.25 with creep & grit, So I will replace them with a VQ set.
Now on to the Grip Mod:
This Mod will allow me to use standard 1911 Grips, making the Pistol much more comfortable to shoot, as the Factory grip is to narrow.
The Grip Frame is thinned down Aprox. .040 on each side.
Dremel Video, Easy does it !

Next it is drilled 7/32 to except standard 1911 bushings.

Almost Finshed:
I say almost because I still have to get a VQ Hammer/Sear set.
Also I will be changing the Sights to a Ruger Short V in the rear and Marbels Pearl Bead up front.
I love the new feel.
The Black rubber Colt grips will be staying on it, I will later remove the horse in the middle and install Ruger Medallions.
Mods:
Grip Mod as you can see
Sling shot Mod, Spring Loaded
Replaced Mag Disconnect with #10 SS washers
Removed the LCI
