USPc vs P2000

I also have a HK 45C (basically a larger P2000 type pistol, but in 45 ACP)---strangely enough, it fits perfectly in my Galco leather holster made for the USPc 9/40 and P2000 9/40...

For 9mm, I think the USP guns are the best in HK's lineup. I trust my USP as much as my Glocks.

Hey guys thinking about buying one of the two guns above.... I was forced to sale my USPc 40 a few months back when I was between jobs and moving states and I miss it more than I thought I ever would.

This will probably end up being a carry gun so the light rails are not important at all. Mainly I'm wondering your thoughts of P2000 feel vs USPc feel. Yes I realize it's different for everyone but none of the stores around me stock the p2000 so getting my hands on one is going to be a problem. One thing I do like about p2000 is the price difference!

Either way I have to take a trip up to Tucson on Sunday so I'm thinking I might be able to find one.

I just bought a USPc 40 in silver. Have had the black but desired the silver.
Those things sure hold their value.

For ME, I prefer the grip of the P2000 over the USP Compact. The grip of the USP Compact feels like a block of wood in my hand, whereas the grip of the P2000 is more contoured and fits better. Plus, the P2000 comes with replaceable backstraps, so you can further adjust the feel of the grip in your hand. YMMV.

I have a P2000 (and P2000SK) with the LEM trigger, so I can't comment on the DA/SA trigger pull or the location of the decocker.

did you use the magazines with the finger grip? HK USPc fits like a glove to me, but have not shot it without the finger grip magazines

The USPC is like a Lamborghini. More squared off, sharper edges. Robust big block V12.

The P2000 is like a Ferrari. Rounder edges, smoother texture. Lighter turbo V8.

Both great cars. I mean guns.
