    Is it worth it?

I put my S&W 627-5 PC 8shot 357mag for sale at $850 but got a trade offer for a Hk p30L in 9mm. Anyone have experience with the hk p30l? Looked at youtube and looks like its got a lot of creep in the trigger with a long reset so im hesitant. Is it worth it in ur opinion?

Nobody can judge whether it's worth to *you*, but on the basic CA value scale you might be getting a bit ahead if the two are in the same shape. P30L is off-roster so it commands a bit of a premium and HKs are expensive for polymers to begin with.

If you don't want a P30L or are not into those types of guns, then it's not worth it because you're getting something you don't like/want.

Aren't those PC 627s pretty sweet guns? V-Comp or no? The HK is just a duty pistol, nothing special about it.

Unfortunately its no a V-comp its an amazing shooter just consolidating calibres since im starting to notice im becoming a collector and id like to start shooting more like before. I can buy 100 rounds of 9mm for the price of 50 of 357mag. The 627 is about $1200 new and the Hk is $900 or so.

I'd probably lean more toward a 9 with a well regarded trigger then, I like the CZ75 SA's myself, they can be slicked up nicely.

Look into converting the cylinder to 9mm. I've heard of it being done to Rugers so I don't know why it couldn't be done to a Smith and Wesson. Costs around $250-300 I think.

These guys do the conversion as well. I have debated doing it myself but I personally enjoy shooting 357 more than 9mm. Especially out of a N frame.

You should acquire John Wick's original handgun.
