Can anyone ID this S&W Model 29 ?

Can anyone help me ID this S&W Model 29 ? I just got from a buddy of mine at a price to low to refuse but I'm not S&W savvy enough to make heads or tails of these markings under the grips.
Attached are pics-left, right and bottom- anyone have any ideas ?

It doesn't look like the barrel is pinned, so probably a later version. What would really help is a couple of close-ups of the numbering on the cylinder hinge (crane). Release the cylinder all the way open, shoot a couple of pics of the markings at the base of the hinge where it meets the frame.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

made in July of 1985 that would make it a 29-3, grips are correct for the time period, should make a good shooter.

Here's my list of changes for that model. It's from a little while back, so there may be more up-to-date info, and the folks at SWforum could say for sure, as f4tweet suggested.
