Hard gritty double action pull, cheaply made and not all that fun to shoot. If looking for a inexpensive hideaway revolver for up close work, maybe. But not if it's something you plan on shooting often.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Compare it side by side with a Rock Island M206 and see if It's priced "right" at $260.

Save a few extra bucks and buy a S&W or Ruger DA revolver.

I got myself a Smith 638 for $409 plus tax and dros at Bullseye in Riverside. Worth every penny. Love to shoot it.

I bought a Taurus 85 a few years back for $250. It's sole purpose is a back up gun for HD. It goes bang every time, but it is definitely not a "fun" gun. What your looking at is probably equal in quality, so I guess it depends on your expectations and how you plan to use it.

2 inch barrel 357's are not for everyone, if you get my meaning.

And I concur that you should check out the rock island armory M-206 it is a close, but not exact copy of the colt detective, with none of the refined finish.

I believe it's all steel of a more traditional frame design than the Windicator.

that said, I wouldn't throw it away if someone gave me one and maybe $260 isn't a bad price for one, Here in California.
I just think there might be better options for just a few dollars more.

I've actually had 2 of these and still have one. I consider a pretty nice shooter and fairly accurate for a snub. Had a pair and one was stolen. gave the remaining one to one of my guys as a bonus, then the other was recovered from a gang banger after 5 years. I do have half dozen S&W revolvers, so I do know a good revolver.

                Just putting it out there..
