Speaking of G34, I am getting a used one out of jail on Monday... I wonder if someone returned it because of similar issues, though it didn't look used at all...

    We will see.

As for glued ejectors, I think it is a cost issue. Less machining, less problems with their subpar assembly guys...

After seeing what some of their guns are put together like, I can easily see an incorrectly pinned ejector that will need to be replaced.

And yes, I understand that they still eat the cost when the gun is sent back to them for ejector pinning, but how many are sent back out of how many?

And they seem to be in love with loctite (green for ejectors), since they put it on both the front and the rear sights on my friend's Loaded 9mm. And it was red. And the sights were fitted correctly and didn't need loctite.

      Mine works fine.

Had the same issue with mine. Push on the ejector, you can probably 'snap' it back into place. However, it won't stay there.
Well, you called that one. I put another 70-80 rounds through it after I tapped it down. Then I field stripped it again and there was a visible gap again. But it had not yet started to malfunction.

Interesting that yours came unglued, but has not affected function.

Just a follow up. Springfield customer service is as good as everyone says. They paid shipping both ways and it was exactly three weeks from the day I shipped it to the day I received it back. The July 4 holiday fell in there, so I think that is a great turnaround. Anyway they pinned the ejector and it runs flawlessly.

They are great little shooters. I wish they had a little bit more care in tuning at the price point before shipping.
