    Sig Mag question

Hi All. These mags were bought at Crossroads gun show and were told that they would fit a Sig P226. With my luck they do not fit. They will slide into magwell but do not lock in. Just wanna see if anyone knows what these are for so I can possibly unload them to someone who may want them.

My guess is Beretta 92 series

Any baseplate markings? Try taking off the baseplate to look for a part number.

They look like Beretta 92 mags to me, , the difference is that the mag catch hole is lower on the 92fs mags. You can modify them and they will work fine, even though the feed lips differ a bit

I was at a crossroads of the West gun show a few years ago. I had my P226 on my side. I saw a table that had some spare magazines on for a good price. I don't remember what the name was.

I tried one by slipping it in until the mag release caught. I tried to eject it but It would not come out. Absolutely would not come out. Luckily I had my leather man with me, I removed the grips, and released like that. Needless to say, I didn't buy these. They were definitely P226 mags, but just very poor quality.

Well extra points for creative photo work versus just laying them out on a table.

I need to show this to my wife, she loves to give me a hard time when I hold things in my mouth...this...I've never thought of. Using your foot fingers!

Those are not P226 mags, the mag catch hole is much lower than it would be on a P226. It is for some double stack 9mm with ambi or reversible release, but that could be a lot of things.

Yeah I agree. A buddy bought these at the gun show and they were in a bin that claimed to be Sig Mags. They were dirt cheap so I'm just basically trying to give them out to someone who may need them.
