Unicorn? Oh the symbol in back... That is a Pegasus, with wings... Our other family business is also Pegasus so I thought I would continue the theme. Not much into Unicorns.

It looks very nice, and I particularly like the die color!

Thanks much for the suggestion! I've thought about making holsters without distinctive boning details so it can fit many firearms. They typically will need some retention devices of some sort because they lack the boning detail to "lock" the pistols in; I will have to check that holster out to see how they achieved that universal fit.

I bought the Carry Lok so it has retention; however, I discovered the fit because my gun fit perfectly in a holster for the G26/27 with thumb break, but the retentions strap did not come close to fitting. In looking for a non-retention type holster, I found the CarryLok to work just fine.

WOW! Really nice leather work there. I've been playing around with Kydex and made a few holsters for my sigs but there's nothing like the look of leather. Excellent work.

Uncle Lou was nice enough to give me a few pointers when I was learning (still learning), but I can only hope to achieve the kind of quality and inventivenss of his holsters some day.

I hand sew all of my holsters because I can't afford a machine right now.

Been playing with the idea of a Kydes/Leather hybrid, but am saving up for the tools I will need to play with Kydex, and design ideas...

That looks really nice. If you start making inside waist band holster, let me know. It would be cool to have a custom made holster for comfort as well.

I've been toying with the idea, just didn't have the extra cash to grab some 5 - 6oz leather needed for IWB style holsters.

What gun do you have that you are possibly thinking about an IWB holster for?
