I spotted a HK P7 at Triple A today, $2999. Crazy price but there if you have always wanted one.

They also have a small run of Green Glocks, but only in 9mm models and the 19.

And man oh man were the Prelock Smiths making a presence in the cases.

Yeah...they have some great stuff on consignment but are asking crack prices. It's a sellers market though. Great place though. They had some Star model Bs in stock that I was checking out.

P7 is truly the ultimate staple gun, ha ha.

There is no problem as to whose spent 9mm brass these are. The P7 should be an excellent choice for a USPSA or IDPA rec. pistol when our popular action shooting ranges limit magazine rounds. That is if you are willing to shoot 9mm.

Also, P7s only like real FMJs, no plated stuff. Seems like any weight works, it just has to be a FMJ.

For myself it's hard to get that attached to a gun I haven't shot yet (unless family passdown). I personally need to put rounds through my guns in order to get attached to them

Actually, I have not found that to be the case. All three of mine (all older P7M8's, two Chantilly's and a Sterling) will feed anything I give them. In fact the PSP I sold would also take everything - It was just too hot to handle literally after awhile on the range. I am told the P7 was designed to feed the 124 Nato round. But those that I have talked to, that know, say the 115 FMJ is also good to go. Most are hesitant to feed them a steady diet of the 147, although I do carry the 147 Winchester T's which work really well in them.

Who said I didn't have a P7 for everyday use? I do. I decided to keep the M8 MIB to retain the value and it's paid off. They are a lovely "staple gun" as someone else posted.

Real love are 1911's though. Go figure.

I, too, have had no problems with mine digesting anything including my hand loads with Speer LRN.
