Pocket Pistol Recommendation

I've been wanting a pocket pistol for a little while and need some advice.
The smallest handgun I current have is the 9mm M&P Shield, but it certainly isn't what I would consider a pocket gun.
I've seen people recommend the Kahr P380 but after some researching I've heard that it isn't very reliable. I've also been recommended the Ruger LCP and LCP 2, but I'd like more recommendations.

What would you recommend?


I went to my local gun shop and they had a small handgun which didn't have any sights. The sales rep made a joke about it being the perfect gun for mugging someone. I don't plan on mugging anyone so a gun with sights would be preferred, lol.

I'm leaning towards the Sig P238, I got to hold one at my local gun shop today and it seemed pretty nice.

Shield will work. A G43 or G42 works too

sig P238 is sweet. it's a little bigger than the ruger LCP, but way easier to shoot quickly and accurately.

I carry a P238 and I have carried the G42 in a pocket.

The p238 is perfectly doable for most of us who don't wear large pants with huge/deep pockets.

Rumor has it that Kahr p380 is in my future.

I will report back concerning it's reliabilty after I get it.

The cw380/p380 is substantially thinner and lighter than the p238, but the p238 is still a fine choice...

Early KAHR's had some issues, Newer ones not so much, I think they polished the ramps.

Anyway Wife has a PM-9 and a P-380. Loves them both. No issues.
