How often and how much do you shoot? Different for everyone. If I did not reload, I would have at least 1K of all calibers I shoot often, such as 9mm, .40, and .45.sigpic

In the 'General Gun Discussion' forum here on Calguns there is a thread every week asking the same thing.
It has been decided that for every caliber you shoot you will need to hoard between 1000 and 100,000 rounds depending on how often you shoot, how hardcore you are and how big your house and safe areComment

I have enough for about 4 years and would slow down a bit near the end to have enough on hand.

It doesn't really matter if you don't plan on leaving the state. Buy ammo you can't reload for like 22lr. Otherwise you'll either quit shooting like they want, or you'll take up reloading.
Then they'll go after reloading. But that won't be later down the road since they'll hopefully be too busy fighting off Trump.Comment
