Another Cajunized CZ Thread (Nill Grips)

Recently ordered a set of Nill Grips from MacTec for freshly master blued CZ75 SA, part of the Cajun Gun Works spa treatment it received. Pics to follow, but first things first. The grips arrived quickly and are beautiful, a dark walnut. I expected them to be purty as they aren't cheap. I also expected a perfect fit, but they are so far off, it's not even close. I can't begin to get the left side panel on, the right side did go on but it's tight on the safety.

Anyone else had this problem? Thought I'd get a little feedback before contacting MacTec tomorrow, but it's looks like I got a lemon.

    Thanks

              Yea something is definitely wrong...

It looks like someone at Nills Griffe accidentally cut a P-01 dimension onto a full size grip.

Iirc the SAO take a different PN than the standard da/sa
You may need the one for the TS

**edit, I was wrong, thought for sure there was another pn
but looking at the site only shows the standard & bianchi style
                I'm sure they'll handle it

Op, your thumb safeties are larger on the 75 SA, if you align the mag release and mounting hole you will see the thumb safety is in the way, those grips fit my SP-01 like a glove, tried them on my SA and they do not fit unless the safeties are removed.

That's it. Bigger thumb safeties on the SA are the problem. I tried to be careful ordering (short of asking) that I was choosing the correct ones. I did not see anything in the description that said that these would not fit an SA. But the SA is not listed either. The listing cautions filing would be necessary on newer model BD's, but with no warnings on the SA, I figured I was good to go. I can't be the first dummy to order these thinking they'd fit. But maybe I am, otherwise, they would have made their description more clear.

Looks like they don't offer grips that fit an SA, unless you are good with a dremel or take off the safeties. Now I need to look elsewhere for quality wood grips that will fit without modification.

Live and learn. Thanks for the replies.

You can also change your safety to the flat type.

OP the Nill grips CZ11XH08 are made for the SP-01 Shadow and they do fit the SA, the safeties are the same, I just tried it.

The Nill CZ-0158 and the CZ01XH08 are about 2mm, ~1/8 in taller.

Spend another hundred for the CZ11XH08 or shave 2mm off the top, walnut takes refinishing touches nicely.
                        Good luck!

Or sell them for a small loss and start over

OP. in the picture Thread, "Nill Grips...for your eyes only" post #94 and #97 has my SP-01 Shadow with the CZ11XH08's installed.
And they feel as good as they look.

I ran into the same issue a while back. You can swap to the lower profile safety levers or modify the grips. It seams that there may be another model of Nill grips available that will fit with the paddle safety levers, i was not aware of this option until eternoplacer mentioned it.
