Have one - very nice. Took about 400 rounds to break in, but smooth shooting after that. Only nitpick would be the sights (changed to Front Fiber + blacked rear) - pain in the butt to punch out and the full length guide rod.

Looks awesome. I've wanted one for a very long time but not available in CA. I wish the serrations were cut as clean on the M&PS. I would buy it if I were you. I read several good reviews in the past. It's a series 80s if I remember correctly, not sure if that a big deal to you.

A friend has one. It has about 3-5k rounds through it. Smooth as glass.

The only thing to watch out for is like most 9mm 1911's. Can be picky with magazines. I use Tripp Research mags.

Just checked. It's an unsafe pistol. Really makes me mad. Such corporate greed is unacceptable today. They refuse to make a safe pistol, caring only for putting profits ahead of people. I say screw them.

Thanks, fellas. Looks like a very nice gun indeed. Will think it over for a little bit. Already have three 9mm 1911s, and now a 10mm is singing its siren song . . .

Eeeek. Why not go with all same alloy parts?
It seems the slide stop is different from even the blued ones... not sure if the frame and slide are hard chrome, but the slide stop looks stainless and sand blasted whereas the slide and frame are at the least bead blasted.

Also not a fan of different checkering.
