Shield mag wont fit with mag guts

I bought a +2 magguts upgrade for my shield and installed it on my 7round magazine. I am able to fit all 9 rounds now and when i try to install it in my shield its extremely difficult has anyone had this issue? I havent tested it out yet but idk if i feel comfortable shooting the gun like this.

Keep that mag loaded. insert and drop the mag repeatedly. It should loosen up eventually. I don't have a shield but I've felt 2 or 3 with new mags and even the standard mags were terribly hard to insert when full.

I thought the magguts was for the 8 round mag?
Maybe I'm thinking of the HYVE?

Lock the slide back, insert the mag, drop the slide, party. Repeat until the mag springs softens enough to insert with the slide in battery.

No the hyve is only for the 8, magguts +1 or +2 can fit into either mag, but ok il try that out thanks
