    IMI Systems brand ammo

Cabelas is selling IMI Systems brand ammo, made in Israel. The 9mm FMJ was $10.99/box, so I got 3. But they are a snug fit in my EGW chamber checker, with a few that stuck out about .100". I have not shot them yet, but I marked the "bad" ones. I think my CZ's will not like these.
I will post more after I shoot some of it.

Target Sports has Ruag, Aguila, Blazer, Fiocchi, PRVI, Remington, Prograde and Sellier and Bellot for 9.99 per box of 50 right now. 115gr FMJ. And Speer, Geko and American Eagle for under $10.99. Even cheaper if you buy by the case.
Great deals to be had right now. Ive been buying 9mm like crazy lately.

Do they say "Independence" on the front of the box?

I got the 4 boxes of the 9MM 115GR JHP last year, also at Cabela's, and they all ran through my 92FS with no issues.

200 rounds of the IMI 9mm through my tactical sport with no issue. Ammo runs hot and a little dirty, cleaner than Blazer but not as clean as Federal.

          IMI = Israeli Military Industries.

I think they also make Sampson and Independence ammo

Good to hear. I just bought 750 rounds of this ammo from Cabelas as well. Never shot this stuff and cabelas only had 17 reviews for the ammo. But price was too good to pass up.

OP, definitely would like to hear how your CZ shoots as I plan on using this ammo with my P01 this weekend.

IMI makes excellent ammo. Anything with the IMI brand will be about as good of ammo as you can find. Annealed brass, sealed primers, and clean burning on their 5.56 shows the quality. IMI ammo is loaded hot in every caliber. No extra cost savings by scrimping on powder. Remember, they load for war, not punching paper.

I am not sure about the other branded stuff. Independence has been reliable for the few hundred 5.56 that I ran across.

Not to hijack the thread but the cleanest 9mm ammo I have bought lately is the S&B in black boxes with brass colored bullets. Hot and clean burning.

I don't see you shoot 9mm very often

                    How do P?

You are correct. Mainly .45 for me but a few of them run 9mm. I ordered a case of S&B and some IMI from SGAmmo a couple of months ago. They are very good ammo.

IMI is my favorite ammo - even if it's a little more expensive than some of the other stuff. Whenever there's a good sale, I grab more of it. Their ex-star 9mm is some of the best 9mm ammo out there in my opinion - it's not that more expensive than regular good quality JHP, so it can be used for target practice and also self defense. Always nice to be able to use the same ammo for self defense that you train with.

I've tried a few of the offerings by IMI(9mm FMJ, M193, .308) and haven't had a issue with any of it. Ive been shooting Winchester white box 9mm for a long time and the IMI stuff seems to burn cleaner. Not one FTF or FTE in my 226 or USP 9 after 700ish rounds. I think SGAMMO has it cheaper than cabelas but no free shipping.

Winchester and Remington handgun ammo are filthy. Leave your gun dirtier than a cheap whore after fleet week.
