Ironic.. I'm thinking of selling my Caspian build to buy an STI and some other stuff.

    Do what you want.

Is that the only STI you have? That's a very hard decision, if you can save up to buy the rifles then I suggest doing that. What's the chance of getting another 2011 frame to have another one built? If that's a sweet shooting 2011 and I'm thinking it is, because it's a Limcat you're going to know what you lost once you sell it. It's kind a like one of those girls in highschool that you start missing when they start dating someone else and you can't take her back even for a booty call, because she knows how you've treated her.

OK! Nice! I'm thinking it's a 40, but I'll ask. What caliber is it? What upper and lower are you looking for? 223 or 308? Pretty soon you'll have, "I'll take it" posting on this thread.

better sell soon if you do, cuz once NeRF hits (when it does..."2 weeks " lol) these should be a little easier to come by

Well the Limcats will still be at that price, it doesn't matter if the 2011 frame becomes available in CA or you can buy it off from Johnny. The fact remains that he charges that much to build one.

This is going to be far more rare to find than most of the AR uppers out there. This is a custom Limited gun by Johnny. I dont know anyone else making these with tungsten barrels. While it's not impossible to get STI frames, it's troublesome.

I just dont see much benefit in selling it off unless you're done with USPSA shooting. It wont be impossible to purchase again, just a lot of work and money if you do.

I say you keep it. AR's are a dime a dozen and the money you'll get from selling your Limited gun probably wont' come close to what itll take once you figure in the smithing time and the work to get another STI frame. I've seen a new, full length, unramped STI frame go for about 800 bucks on calgums. If the NERF thing works, then in all likelihood, new frames will go for msrp- which is what..3-400 for just the frame? You wont be out too much for sitting on it.

I say you keep it for now. Try and get an AR and if you really need the money, then yea, sell it. But see if you can get the AR you want without getting rid of something thats MUCH MUCH harder to come by.

I"m hoping the NRF thing happens, but what if it doesn't? In IPSC circles those frames are worth $1K. A tungsten sleeved barrel is about $450, tungsten is not cheap, either the smith fitting it.
