Took an Old Friend to the Range Today

I cut my teeth on wheel guns back in the day. Colt Trooper, S&W Model 19 and S&W Model 66. They all went the way of the dinosaur while I made room for polymer and other new things. Awhile back I bought the GP100 and shot it many times. It has been resting in the safe for awhile so I thought I would give it another go. She did fantastic. Smooth action, great sight picture, minimal muzzle flip. She is ready for the zombie apocalypse.

A word to the younger generation; add a quality DA revolver to your arsenal and learn how to use it. Learn how to do tactical reloads and reload from a cartridge loop

There is no school like old school.

Plus you don't have to chase after the brass.

In 1979 I entered the academy with a S&W 15. Did a Live in week at the range with it and speed loaders. I was dam fast after shooting day and night and easily 3000 rounds. The best shooters were allowed to shoot against each other. They sure don't do that any more.

There is something to be said for the old ways. The reliability of the wheelguns is second to none.

Amen brother, I'm in my late 20's and are embarrassed for these kids these days. It's all Glock this CZ that, maybe I was just raised different but for me it doesn't get any better than a fine wheel gun stamped USA on the frame.
You gotta get back to growing that collection again.

                  BUY AMERICAN
