    Beretta M9A3 G Model only

I finally found one on GunBroker that was priced at a level I could live with. It had a Buy Now feature for $999 so I went ahead and bought it. I just did this, so I haven't received it yet. That will be a few days before the pistol gets shipped to Arizona from Ohio. But instead of my own pics, which will obviously have to wait, I will just link the item with the GunBroker pictures.

I can't wait to get this pistol. I think I may buy a magazine well guide from Wilson Combat, but that will be the only thing I upgrade on this one.

Congrats, I like the A3 especially after owning a 92FS for a long time!

How much slimmer is the grip compared to the regular m9/92fs.

Been eying these for some time.

I don't know yet because I just bought it today on GunBroker. It will be at least a few days before I actually get the weapon in my hands. I'll get back to you though.

              Congrats! She's a beauty.

Don't forget the D spring. Or the WC 16# spring is awesome. Smoother than the D spring with less stacking. http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Wilson-C...info/721CS-16/

I also like to drop in a shok buff for range time.

I watched a couple of videos where they talked about the M9A3 already outfitted with the D spring straight from the factory. Is that not true?

Congrats to the op! It's a real nice pistol. You're gonna dig it!

Mine didn't have the d spring. It's not a factory part. I bought one but haven't installed it yet. I did get the Wilson trigger bar, spring kit and back strap plug/wedgie thing though. Trigger is a lot nicer now. After shooting the Wilson Brig, a stock action is kinda gross haaha.

The grip is the same as the Vertec, which I have. It's a slight difference, so if you prefer a 1911 grip angle, you'll probably like it. Not a huge difference, especially if you're comparing to a 92 with the radiused backstrap - the trigger reach is the same.

I didn't think it came with one. But I could be wrong (I don't own an M9A3). The D spring is a significant improvement if it doesn't have one already.

I just picked up a G-SD. I was debating on some WC upgrades, but I like kind of keeping it stock (+ the D spring). The M9A3 is a perfect Beretta IMO. WC makes good parts, but if it were me I think I'd add the D spring and call it perfect.

The reduced spring in the spring kit is supposed to be the same weight. Just doesn't have the bar mechanism to contain the spring when it breaks. The reduced coil spring comes in the spring kit. That's what I gathered from the literature. Since its the same weight I haven't changed it yet. I guess I should swap it to confirm.

I also tried the Wilson short reach trigger, I got tricked because its called the SRT which I mistaken for short RESET trigger hahaha. But its gross. Ended up swapping it back to stock, also if you get the Wilson trigger bar the set up for stock trigger and srt is different

                          Wow

Well I guess I'll have to get the D spring then. I already ordered the Magazine plug, or guide, or what ever it is called from Wilson Combat. I did that last night. I also ordered a couple of extra magazines even though it comes with three of them. But I have never even heard of the Wilson Combat Trigger Bar, so I will have to read up on that. Thanks for the heads up.

One thing I do have that I don't need is the G conversion Kit that is in the mail from Beretta. I just ordered it a couple of days ago thinking that some day I'll buy the M9A3 and need it. But the M9A3 I bought already is a G conversion so I won't need that kit anymore. Anybody need one?

Dooder your M9A3 looks a little bit different color than the one I just bought. Is it just the lighting in the room? Or is yours a little bit OD greenish?
