    New shield owner

Jusg picked up my shield 9mm. Also sent in my AZ ccw application. Looking to buy a IWB holster was originally gona by a kydex one from ebay/amazon but thoight maybe theyre not best quality or uncomfortable. Any one have any experience with these? Does anyone have any recommendations for an IWB holster thats really comfortable?

Im very happy with my Galco King Tuck. Its a leather/kydex combo and is very comfortable to wear. Be sure to get a proper belt as well, that makes a big difference.

+1 to the King Tuck. Maybe im missing something here because I have no idea how California's dumb gun laws work, but why apply for an AZ ccw if you live in California?

A good CCW belt is just as important as a good holster.

I carry my Shield in a Sticky holster. I doubt there is a more comfortable holster on the market. However, like all holsters, they have their pros and cons and are not for everyone or every application.

A good ccw belt, you'll be able to hold horizontal and it will keep the circular form. If the belt doesn't stay horizontal in a circular form, that also means when you add the weight of the holster & gun on it, it will sag. If you're ccw'ing, you don't want to print, if you're sagging... more prone to print.

You can also look at the following

                  Garrett Industries Silent Thunder
                  G-Code Incog
                  Contact Concealment
                  Bravo Concealment
                  Raven Concealment

Personally I use the Crossbreed SuperTuck daily.

This is a good one. Fairly easy to take on/off a belt but secure and the retention is very good

To me they are almost as comfortable as a hybrid but they're way easier to take on and off

                          VERY comfortable.

Look at this IWB tuckable holster. Works great if you ever need to tuck your shirt in and need additional cant to angle the pistol to where it's comfortable and no printing. The owner of this is also a vendor on here and goes by the name "grantar2" (Art).

Here's a link to his post on calguns.

I had one of those holster you mentioned and did not like it. I wore it at 3o'clock position and whenever I sat, it would press up against my hip (bone).
