That's a FEG PA-63, it's on the roster, so yes, it's CA legal.

Even if it is legal they will not ship to CA so you'll have to go through a middle man.

Will they even ship rifles to CA?

The FEG PA-63 is not on the approved list.

It fell off the list on 05-21-2008.

No it is not on the roster. It is always a good idea to check before you post.

What the hell, they changed their minds again? Good, but surprising.

Edit: Just to clarify, you bought an FN pistol or long gun?

What alternatives do I have for a little handgun like that? I want one!

Someone PPT me theirs? (if they can)

the CZ82 right next to it is C&R and is roster-exempt.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

probably should clarify it was a long gun
i dunno if their policy is different for pistols
                    sorry

And MUCH MUCH MUCH more superior to the PA-63. The CZ-82 will usually run about $50 more but that buys you 50 times the refinement over the PA-63. Side by side it's almost laughable how crappy the PA-63 is and how amazingly great the CZ-82's are. The simple act of chambering a round is night and day. And if you actually shot them side by side, the difference, assuming your able to get the PA-63 to function pass a few magazines is just ridiculous.

In short: get the CZ-82, it's Cali legal and can be had from many more sources.

I'm having a hard time not buying an 82 right now, but the fact that 10 round mags are proving very difficult to find is making it a bit easier.

I have both, and that is a bunch of BS. All FOUR of my PA63's are 100% reliable, as is the 82. They are completely different designs, and the 82 weighs twice what the 63 does, but they both have their place.

Th 9x18 makarov ammo is what's keeping me from getting. I already have a Bulgarian Makarov and ammo is not so readily easy to find.

My dad bought one about 2 months before they were taken off the approved list for $99 from J&G (On line not the shop in Granite bay).
