I recently picked up a VP9 with about 2k rounds through it. Everyone talks up the trigger on the VP9 which I agree has a nice pull feel to it. My problem is when I fire it I feel as if I'm getting a lot of shock recoil through the frame and particularly trigger. The shock through the frame isn't that bad just not as smooth as expected but the trigger shocks/hits my finger so hard that it is painful. Anyone have any insight of experience with this.
I've personally put about 200 through the VP9 using both Winchester white box and fiocci both 115gr fmj. For further reference on two different outings I compared the feel from my VP9 G19 gen 4 and p226 mk25. Of course the mk25 felt better than both but that's as expected. However, comparing the G19 and VP9 the VP9 had a nicer smoother pull but had the painful shock after firing as well as the frame "shock" the G19 was like your standard glock trigger not very smooth but not terrible and did not exhibit any of the shock issues.
