Good day Calgunners! I recently added this MC Operator to the family and wanted to share the good news. I've held off on these for some time but pulled the trigger on what I thought was a good deal (OTD $1150).
Upon receipt I added a SA Magwell, VZ EGA Grips/grip tape, 10-8 rear sight (height .375,width .140 u notch), Dawson FO front (height .180, width .125) and TLR-1. I hope this helps someone considering the same set-up. I actually called Springfield and they verified the stock sight heights.
I am currently running McCormick 10rd Powermags and they function flawlessly. So far I've shot 200rds of 230gr ball ammo and pistol is 100% reliable. This one is a keeper for sure and I'm looking forward to fully breaking this in. Thanks for listening and safe shooting..
