    G21 SF on a Diet

Just got my G21 SF back from weight loss camp at Taran Tactical Innovations.

I opted for the right handed carry stipple with finger groove removal and single undercut.

Below are some pictures next to some usual suspects for a reference scale.

Looks good. Does that make it a G21 SSF (Super Short Frame)? LOL

Looks good OP. I have wanted to remove the finger bumps on my 19. I like how clean the stipple job is.

Ranger 20: Points more like my 1911 with the Glock hump gone. Haven't got it out to the range yet. Hopefully this week.

The single undercut gives me a noticeably higher grip on the gun.

The texture on the bottom of the trigger guard and index point forward the takedown levers is going to help with support hand control during rapid strings.

Can't wait to do some double taps with this thing.

I will be watching for your report.
THE 21 is a favorite of mine.. A do all platform IMHO.
A bit harder for CCW but not much over a 22 or 17.
                  Appreciate you answering back.
What did they charge you for the work? If that is not something you don't want to mention it's fine... I can contact them myself.
Just a ball park would be fine.
Were you able to just send in your frame or have to do the whole send it to them and back to an FFL Thing?

Nice write up and pictures for comparison..
I love my 1911 but the G21 has advantages in weight and capacity.

Ranger 20: The 21 is one of my favorites as well. The texture and grip reduction update made me like it that much more. $200 range, just the frame, worth calling them IMO as there are lots of options.

                    Thanks for the comments guys!

                    Range report soon.
