    Type III hard anodizing aluminum

Are there any shade-tree gunsmiths out there that has a hard coat anodizing setup? I have a pistol and a couple lowers I want to get type III hard anodized but every place I have call in Northern California will not touch them.

    Santa Clara Plating?

I heard the name as a supplier to aerospace, IDK about evil guns compared to missiles, tanks, etc.

I'm interested to hear if you have any luck with this in the south bay.

All of the local metal finishers i've contacted are either "on hold pending the new laws" or will not touch finished firearms receivers.

I last called about 2 months ago.

Check with TecPlate in Anaheim. they do firearms plating of all sorts and may have anodizing too.
