      I always hiked with electroplated TMJ handloads. The "jacket" is so thin it performs a lot like a softnose or solid, but it's cleaner.

        true but the lead is much softer then a hardcast lead bullet. you won't get much penetration on a bear. that side 99% of wildlife would be fine
        primer, powder, projecile, press, load, fire repeat!

          I'm not sure that's true but I'd like to see a test or a source. I've recovered a lot of the 200 gr TMJ bullets and they never come apart, they just squish out a bit, more or less depending on what the backstop was. Even in a wooden block they just mushroomed a bit.
