The elusive RTF2, elusive no longer!

Just managed to find & put a down payment on a NIB Vickers RTF2 G17! Any owners of this fine pistol out there? I'd love to hear what you think of it.

I have a factory RTF 2 G17 and a G22. There is no substitute. Will die with them in my possession.

I don't have the Vickers version, but I do have an RTF2. I like the feel of it much more than the standard Glock frame. It's my USPSA/IDPA pistol. The one gripe that I can think of is that the RTF can abrade clothing if carried frequently (not likely since it's a full size pistol).
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

In all honesty I can't think of any negatives to mine. I guess when I take the big vacation, those kids going to fight over what I have. Just don't sell my Platinum Lincoln Town Car with a velour roof

Got mine earlier this year along with the G19 RTF2, but later sold the 19. The 17 is now my fun gun. But i do prefer the RTF over the standard Glock texture.

Congrats...I have a G19 Vickers RTF2....This pistol changed my mind about glocks and is now my go to nightstand gun (even with all of my CZs). Too bad its difficult to track these down, otherwise I would have a G17 to match.

So, what's the deal with a RTF2 Glock 19 Gen 3, made in Austria? Is it on-roster, or not?

Reason I ask... It looks to me like the any Glock 19 is on roster, except USA or Gen 4, which are specifically excluded.

The only wrinkle is that the 17RTF2 has a separate roster entry. But the slide of the Glock 19 RTF2 only says "19," which suggests it's the same model.

Unfortunately only the 17 and 22 with RTF2 are on the roster.

I found a unicorn, but sadly it was off roster. Gentleman was selling a G23c Rtf2 in odg. Pretty uncommon pistol but off roster anyways. Nice pistol OP. I love my 22 rtf2. Wish i could find more Rtfs.

I'm looking to get a Vickers RTF2 G19 whenever I get out of here. The added sights and mag catch etc are well worth the extra $100 in a free state. I have little use for full size pistols. The police trade in G22 RTF2s have been tempting though. I'd certainly buy a G17 RTF2 for the right price.
